SO laughable! It began at the Beginning. Pete, Hank's worst enemy, tries to tell Hank and Drover that the next day was Halloween. Hank, of course, says it's been "canceled" and walks away with a scratch on his nose. Hank and Drover, end up staying at Slims house. A while after Slim, Drover, and Hank Cleaning-up a tornado reck of a house because a "petunia" was coming over for dinner, the two of them, Drover and Hank, meet two familiar birds that were lost, The Buzzard, Wallus, sings "Buzzard Love" to prove he could sing. Jr the other one, was Hank's singing buddy from way back (as Hank puts it). Wallus and Jr tell Hank they saw a "ghost" and Hank keeps hearing this mysterious music. Will Hank be able to save the Ranch from the so called "ghost" or will everyone on the Ranch be eaten by gobs and ghostlins, excuse me, ghost and goblins. You'll have to read the book to find out.
